From November 29 to February 12, 2022, Singapore hosted the World Aquaculture Conference, which drew several scientists and representatives of the fish industry. The Aquatic Diseases Research & Development Group (ADRDG) took part in the event this year extremely actively, giving two presentations and hosting assistance booths for Vietnamese companies..
There were two presentations at the conference:
Section 1: New emerging disease caused by a highly virulent Edwardsiella ictaluri strain in farmed tilapia Oreochromis spp.
Section 2: Effect of an essential oil-based functional additive on reducting the impact of ectoparasites and improving growth performance in grouper Ephinephelus fuscoguttatus
Along with presenting research findings, group members have actively networked and built collaborative relationships with domestic and international partners, universities, and corporations to support research, experimentation, and technology transfer activities with the Fisheries Faculty at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture.
