1. AQUACULTURE PROGRAM

1.1. Output standard

Upon completion of the training program, learners have the following knowledge, skills, autonomy and responsibilities:

About knowledge:

* General knowledge

OPS1: Applying knowledge of natural sciences, social politics and contemporary issues to fisheries and life.

* Expertise

OPS2: Data analysis for survey and research in the field of fisheries.

OPS3: Evaluate the process of seed production, care, health management and quality of aquatic products to meet job requirements.

OPS4: Design a model for growin aquatic organisms and producing aquatic breeds in the direction of sustainability, food safety and hygiene, in accordance with actual conditions.

About skills:

* General skills

OPS5: Applying critical thinking, analysis, judgment and criticism to solve problems in the fisheries sector.

OPS6: Coordinating teamwork with the role of members, leaders to achieve the set goals.

OPS7: Effective multi-media and multicultural communication, reading and understanding technical documents in English.

OPS8: Using modern equipment and technology in aquaculture production and research.

* Advanced skill

OPS9: Competently perform operations in seed production, rearing, environmental management and aquatic animal health.

OPS10: Apply appropriate methods and data analysis for aquaculture research and production.

OPS11: Consulting and transferring techniques for breeding, rearing aquatic animals, trading and managing in the field of aquaculture with high efficiency.

1.2. Career orientation of learners after graduation

Learners after graduating from Aquaculture Program can work in the following positions: technical officer, research officer, fishery extension officer, manager, market officer, consultant, etc. entrepreneurs, managers, leaders.

Areas of work: fisheries, agriculture at economic organizations, social organizations, state management agencies, businesses, and domestic and international non-governmental organizations in the field of seafood sector. In addition, after graduation, students can also stand out on their own as farm owners or open veterinary medicine and aquatic food stores.

Orientation to study to improve qualifications after graduation:

Students after graduating from Aquaculture can continue to pursue higher degrees or specialized courses at home and abroad related to the fields of: Fisheries, Livestock, Veterinary, Biology… domestic and international; develop your career to become an expert, manager, leader, global citizen.
