The workshop, “Solutions to Prevent Diseases and Enhance Freshwater Aquatic Product Production,” was successfully hosted on December 28, 2022, by the Aquatic Diseases Research & Development Group (ADRDG) of the Faculty of Fisheries in association with VMC and Mega VET company.
Mr. Phung The Hoi, a representative of Mega VET, and Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, a representative of VMC, both attended the session. Along with staff, lecturers, and students from the the Fisheries Faculty at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture was represented by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Nang Thu, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Associate Professor Dr. Truong Dinh Hoai, Head of the Aquatic Diseases Research & Development Group.
The seminar began at 8:30 with seven presentations covering the following major subjects: Some common diseases in freshwater aquatic animals; Solutions to improve the quality and safety of aquatic animals and feed; Research findings on the use of immunostimulant products for some freshwater aquatic species.
At the session, 8 abstracts of research findings and posters from other scientists were also addressed. The application focus and usefulness of the study are emphasized in the key remarks. On that day, the session ended around 4:30 p.m.
